(Hong Kong, 10 December 2020) Today, following the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA)’s 48th annual general meeting (AGM), the HKICPA Council elected Raymond CHENG as president, Rosalind Suk Yee LEE and LI Kin Hang as vice-presidents. 

Raymond CHENG is a fellow member (practising) of HKICPA. He was first elected as a council member at the 2010 AGM and has served on the Council since 2011.

He is currently the Chairman of HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng Limited, specialising in corporate audits and has extensive experience in auditing companies in different industries, most especially the financial services industry. He has been actively involved in the development of accounting profession through his leadership and participation in a wide range of HKICPA committees. He is the Chair of the Qualification Oversight Board. In recent years, he has been involved in the Audit Profession Reform Working Group, Registration and Practising Committee, and the Remuneration Committee.
 
The vice-presidents Rosalind Suk Yee LEE and LI Kin Hang joined the Council since 2018 respectively. At the Council election, seven members were elected to serve for a term of two years, including Alan AU; Alan CHAN; Larry CHENG; Raymond CHENG; FONG Wan Huen, Loretta; LAM Chi Yuen, Nelson, JP; and WONG Wing Hei, Ernest. 

Existing elected members who will hold office for one more year until their two-year term ends are CHEUNG Wai Lun, William; CHOY Kai Sing; Ernest FUNG; Rosalind Suk Yee LEE; Louis LEUNG; Roy LEUNG and LI Kin Hang. The Government has also appointed Agnes CHOI Heung Kwan, MH and re-appointed Theresa NG Choi Yuk, JP as lay members of the Council for a term of two years from 1 December 2020 to 30 November 2022. Two continuing government-appointed lay members WONG Kam Pui, Wilfred, BBS, JP and AU King Lun, MH, PhD will fulfil the second year of their terms. 

In addition, Kitty TSUI, representative of the Financial Secretary, and Charlix WONG, JP, Director of Accounting Services, remain as the ex-officio members serving on the Council. 

The immediate past president of the Institute is Johnson KONG. He shall hold office as a member of the Council until the conclusion of the 49th AGM, as stipulated by the Professional Accountants Ordinance (PAO). After the conclusion of his term as president, Raymond CHENG will also serve a further year on the Council.

香港會計師公會選出新一屆會長及理事會成員

（香港，二零二零年十二月十日）香港會計師公會（「公會」）在今天舉行的第48屆周年大會後，公會理事會選出鄭中正為會長，而李淑儀及李健恆獲選為副會長。

鄭中正為公會執業資深會計師，於二零一零年周年大會首次當選為理事，自二零一一年起服務公會理事會。鄭中正現時為HLB國衛會計師事務所有限公司主席。他專注於企業審計，在不同行業（尤其是金融服務業）審計方面擁有豐富經驗。他領導及參與公會多個委員會及小組，積極推動會計專業發展。他為現任專業資格監督委員會主席，近年參與公會的審計專業改革專責小組、註冊及執業核准委員會以及薪酬委員會。

副會長李淑儀及李健恆均於二零一八年加入理事會。於理事會選舉中，當選的七位理事任期為兩年，包括區紀倫、陳維漢、鄭皓朗、鄭中正、方蘊萱、林智遠，JP及王榮熙。

將履行第二年任期的現任理事包括張煒麟、蔡啟昇、馮領業、李淑儀、梁文俊、梁思傑及李健恆。政府亦委任蔡香君，MH及再度委任吳彩玉，JP為公會理事會的業外成員，任期由二零二零年十二月一日至二零二二年十一月三十日，為期兩年。另外兩名現任由政府委任的業外成員為黃錦沛，BBS，JP及區景麟，MH，PhD，將會履行其第二年任期。

此外，公會理事會的當然理事由財政司司長代表徐麗貞及庫務署署長黃成禧，JP擔任。

根據《專業會計師條例》的規定，上屆會長江智蛟將留任理事會成員，直至第49屆周年大會結束；而鄭中正亦將在其會長任期完結後留任理事會一年。
